I highly recommend this book if you are in business, and especially if you own a business. If neither of these is you, well I still recommend it, I just don't think you'll get as much as from it as the others mentioned.

Anyway here it is, Ready, Fire, Aim, the book is written by Michael Masterson and is a great read. Just about any book store will carry it or you can shop at my favorite store. Amazon.com!

Smartphones for business

This article is about business owners use of smart phones. I have an Iphone, and while the cost is a fairly hefty $300 it keeps me in contact with my customers, gives me map directions when I need them, carry's music, contacts a flashlight and will even act as a remote control for my power point presentations. The saying "there's an app for that" is right on target. If you are in business the time saved from having a Iphone far exceeds the price tag.

It's no wonder it is the favorite.

Social Media for SEO is Not Just About Links Anymore

Disclaimer: This article was originally written before Google made its announcement, and has been updated to reflect that.

Google and Microsoft have both inked deals with Twitter, and Microsoft has also inked one with Facebook to integrate Twitter and Facebook updates into Bing search results. Google will be adding tweets to search results.

Google's Marissa Mayer says, "We believe that our search results and user experience will greatly benefit from the inclusion of this up-to-the-minute data, and we look forward to having a product that showcases how tweets can make search better in the coming months. That way, the next time you search for something that can be aided by a real-time observation, say, snow conditions at your favorite ski resort, you'll find tweets from other users who are there and sharing the latest and greatest information."

I found this article on WebProNews, the time to start usine social media like twitter and facebook for your business is now.
